The Jefferson County Council on Aging is comprised of many dedicated volunteers, including representatives of governmental agencies, service providers and senior organizations. Our mission is to identify the needs, concerns and issues of older adults in Jefferson County. We advise and advocate for services that best meet these needs by actively encouraging cooperation and coordination within our greater community.
JCCoA was formed in 1974; we are the longest operating and largest county council on aging in Colorado. We are proud of our many accomplishments through the years, including developing the Seniors’ Resource Center.

The council is composed of 30 active members affiliated with more than 60 groups, agencies and organizations. We are very proud of our relationship with the Denver Regional Council of Governments, an organization that provides valued resources to our mission.
Your Jefferson County Council on Aging supports more than 400 key contacts, providing event notices, timely information on senior programs, legislation, issues and resources. We also publish regular articles, designed to keep seniors accurately informed of the issues most important to them.
Become involved in JCCoA; we have a variety of committees in which you can share your talents. JCCoA is your advocate...become a member today!
